Wish we managed to get tickets for this back in November - a collaboration between choreographer MARIE-AGNÈS GILLOT & Walter Van Beirendonck for Ballet de l'Opera.
Some of the costumes are on display as part of the Arrrgh ! Monstres de Mode exhibition on at Gaité Lyrique until 7 April, along with many other fascinating fashionable monsters - go see it if you can !

One jack went to snowy Amsterdam - from the city of lights to the city of bikes - this was our view from our houseboat window over the weekend. It wasn't quite cold enough for the canal to freeze over but the owners told us when it does, you can ice skate on the canal, & skaters climb through the window to borrow the bathroom !

ONE JACK GOES TO VIETNAM
Taking a trip to Ho Chi Minh... For the first time, jack was astonished to learn of a 'bird club', the idea is to bring your bird to the park and let it sing and chirp with all the other birds before your work day begins, just like taking your dog for a walk, you take your bird for a sing.. as well as bird watching, We played with the fishes in hoi an, said hi to a hall of jolly marble buddhas, got our shoes mended by a crafty street cobbler, watched an ocean full of kite surfers in Mui ne and all the while happily drank the notoriously sweet Vietnamese iced coffee everyday, miam miam !

On the spot development of images directly on to glass plates using a custom-made portable dark room makes the process a fascinating exhibition in itself ....

in london with some good friends we went to the old blue last where we caught a glimpse of a fierce underground japanese party of three, known as the trippple nippples.
